Just to let everyone know, viewing a private Myspace profile IS possible. Of course you can only view the profile page. Clicking on photos, blogs etc. will lead to a “this profile is set to private” error. My point is: It can be done and the simplicity of doing so suggests that it won’t be long before people start figuring it out.
For the private friends list you need to change the 2 page # on the url

sorry may i add that the visible link worked because it was indeed a .jpg file and the former was simply a hyperlink (probably to the same image). I’m thinking maybe someone (with more experience than me) could look into this more.
