well this is pretty interesting.. nothing unbelievable though. it’s just a stupid coincidence. anything that has to do with politics and notepad seems to get a rise out of people haha. remember the whole 9/11 wingdings craze? yeah it’s kinda like that.
well fuck i did! not on my good one though (thank the spaghetti monster). but it did kill my ability to watch movies on my tv seeing as i didn’t bother to check if my new laptop had an s-video output before i bought it?! so i’m pretty bummed right now :/ i was a wee bit drunk at the time and spilled heineken all over the keyboard when i was trying to setup the movie so i could pass out watching superman returns.. my dumbass just flipped the laptop over and shook it a couple times and put the movie back on.. whoops! so today i googled the correct way to prevent killing your laptop, turns out i did pretty much everything wrong. haha durrrrr. anyway if this ever happens to you (oh it will) here’s what you’re supposed to do.
wow. i have discovered what is possibly the most annoying self-installed browser addon.. ever. haha the only good reason for this that i can think of is to install it on someone else’s computer. i did install it on mine, and do admit that i laughed my ass off when it found the secret word.. but when it found it the second time.. die! so.. here it is.

in case you were just like “WTF?!” haha i’m switching up the whole site. if something’s funky, links are broken, or something needs to be fixed.. let me know and i’ll fix it asap.
i’ll be working on the site for the next couple hours so don’t freak out if something drastically changes in that time…

This tweak is to make this mothafunk launch faster! Now I’ve got a pretty fast laptop and launching programs usually take a few seconds (at most), but not Firefox?! It can take up to 10 seconds on a cold start (maybe more). But with this tweak I’ve cut that time in half.. and warm starts (Firefox opened previously, then closed) can start as quick as 1 second! nice right?
so i had this posted for about 20 minutes.. but since it’s been 4 days after the email to customer support and it still remains open, i’m taking it down until it’s fixed. i’ll repost with an explanation of how it was done once it’s safe again (no lawsuit involved :P)
update (11.01.06)
i reported this to 2 myspace employees, and sent another email to customer support.. still not fixed?! (i think) and since this post doesn’t have that many views, i’ll repost what i had originally posted the other day :)
