I’ve always enjoyed checking out what other people are rockin on their desktop to get ideas for my own. Let’s face it, we all have one, we all customize it, and we all (at least us nerds) like to show it off. So here’s mine :)
XP Visual Style (Theme): Ashen by ~Nevezen
Wallpaper: Amanecer by ~EAMejia
Dock: RocketDock
Dock Icons: Gnome-Buuf-Deuce-1.0-r8 by ~djany
Left Sidebar: Samurize, showing all running processes using the FindTheTopProcess plugin.
Right Sidebar: Samurize, It started with this dude’s config file and started editing from there. I might upload my config file if people want it :)
- Calender, using the EventCalendar plugin.
- Todo List, just a text box that loads from a .txt file on the desktop. No extra plugin needed. Using Windows Key + T to edit in notepad via AutoHotKey :)
- CPU, RAM, & HD space, just simple meters found in Samurize. No extra plugins needed.
- Now playing, yet another “stock” plugin included in Samurize.
- Uptime, again another “stock” plugin.
More Info: I’m actually running dual 22″ monitors with a resolution of 3360×1050 but for the sake of bandwidth and view-ability I’ve shrunk the screenshot down to 1280×800.
