A couple of posts ago I told you how to block comments from these incredibly annoying Myspace Apps. I’ve decided to investigate this further after a recent visitor’s comment that was still having problems with blocking these things.. The solution, although inconveniently hidden, IS there to totally shut-down your app of choice.
To completely block an app, you must visit that App’s profile. Right below the “Add this App” button, there is a “Report this App” link. CLICK IT! You will end up on another page with three options. The middle option is the one you want. Now put your mouse pointer over the link, raise your right hand to the sky, and with a screaming downward thrust land that finger on the mouse button like you were trying to break a brick. BAM! Confirm it, and there you go :) Now more shit all over your page…
Until another funking app gets developed to do the same thing after everyone on myspace has blocked the original one. And yes, you have to block EVERY app one by one. Grrr! If you don’t mind the bulletins and/or want to try another solution, you can try this one.
this works with most, but not all of them have this option. I hate those things. I am bombarded with them several times a day, but hate to delete my friends. thanks for the info
