want to find all the friends you had on your old account? har har but there is a way. you don’t even have to be logged in..

Jon is a maniac for discovering this url trickery!

THIS DOESN’T WORK ANYMORE!

use this url and replace XXXX’s with a friendID:

http://collect.myspace.com/user/viewfriends.cfm?friendID=XXXX

and since none of the links to different pages of friends work, you have to navigate directly with the url:

http://collect.myspace.com/user/viewfriends.cfm?friendID=XXXX&page=1

&page=1
&page=2
&page=3 ect ect..
page=1 is the first page but it looks like it is the second (the
page 2 link is no longer a link) but it IS the first page. don’t pay
attention to the links, just the url.
to find your old friend ID:
search “myspace your old url or display name
for example “myspace hye5” (without the quotes).

IF you’re lucky enough to get a result, click the “Cached” link. now you might freak out when you see your page “holy shit there it is!”. yes and no, it is there but it’s only on a google server, not myspace’s. anywho, right click the send message link, copy link location/copy shortcut, then paste that link somewhere and your friend ID is right there in the url.
